The robotics market has a broad and growing range of products. After numerous years of collaboration with both eastern and western customers, it’s possible to make predictions about the future evolution of robotics and the robotics industry.

According to market demand, professional services applications will account for a significant market share. The industry’s growth has been driven by changes in customer behavior. As an example, delivery services and online marketplaces have raised the demand for robotics in the fields of manufacturing customization and logistics. These robotics have been used more frequently due to the increasing need to automate food delivery. After automation and demand were recognised in the food industry, robots were created to transport food orders around the world. Today, delivery robots are being used by more businesses to automate various aspects of restaurant operations. Looking at the future of robotics, it is likely that this trend will persist and spread to more industries.

Mobile services are being used to provide individual aid and support. These include robotic companions that assist the elderly with daily tasks such as personal grooming and household chores. As the future of robotics develops, this trend will only continue to grow.

It is already possible to find android-type robots with flexible manipulators on their hinges at world robotics exhibitions. These robots can perform tasks such as

  • Pouring water into a glass
  • Washing dishes
  • Serving goods

Impressively, a humanoid robotic arm capable of solving a Rubik’s cube without the assistance of a human was also developed by employees of the OpenAI analytical center for artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence advancements will enable robots to adapt to and learn from unexpected events in the near future. These technologies will be especially effective in non-repetitive tasks.

Technologies are slowly moving away from manual labor in favor of improving efficiency in existing manufacturing processes. As consumers demand environmentally-friendly manufacturing, waste recycling will be improved and more complex solutions will be available for the sorting and distribution (intelligent) of recyclable materials. It is important to remember that the market is currently short of manual labor and that many complex spheres have low repeatability, making it necessary for technological solutions like AI.

Looking ahead to the future of robotics, advanced AI will open up new possibilities for collaboration between humans and machines. We will be able to interact with machines more easily and natively because of improved sens
