Back in September, Google launched a subscription service for Android programs and games. Play Pass, that has added over 150 names since last year, is now coming to another nine countries and getting an annual payment option.
Google at launch touted over 350″completely unlocked” applications which are free of in-app buys (IAPs) and advertisements. Compared to Apple Arcade, Play Pass incorporates non-entertainment utilities and tools, such as weather programs.
New content is added monthly using a recent drive for encounters in the Sesame Workshop as part of a kid-friendly selection. Under”Apps and games for children,” search for a”Teacher approved” badge. The company today also touts new games that will shortly premiere on Play Pass:

To expand availability beyond the US, Play Pass is coming to Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Spain, and the United Kingdom this week to get a total of 10 countries.
Meanwhile, the $4. 99 a month program will be bolstered by an annual subscription that costs $29. 99 stateside. Current users may see an”Upgrade to a yearly subscription” option in the main feed. You paying for six months and obtaining.
