It did not take LSU football long to find a substitute for ex-Tigers offensive line coach James Cregg after parting ways with him earlier this month.

Several reports of Davis being the very best candidate arose soon after the news came that Cregg wasn’t any longer using the program, and that was formally confirmed at a news release from the school on Thursday.

“Brad is a game-changer for us and he’s a great addition to our staff,” Tigers head coach Ed Orgeron said. “We are excited about having him come home to be a LSU Tiger. Brad is a proven offensive line coach who has developed some outstanding players during his coaching career. He also gives us another tremendous recruiter on the staff.”
