Police: Man arrested after 48-year-old man shot, killed at Robinson Township motel

Allegheny County police said a man has been arrested after a 48-year-old man was found shot in the parking lot of a motel in Robinson Township Friday morning.Police were called to the Pittsburgh Motel on Steubenville Pike just before 11:30 a.m. for reports of a shooting.A 48-year-old man was found dead at the scene. The man has been identified as Christopher Langham of Hookstown. Allegheny County police said detectives learned Langham went to the Pittsburgh Motel to meet someone. Police said he was invited into the room and was there a few seconds when he encountered 25-year-old Jaquay Murray (Pictured above), who exited the bathroom. Police said Murray pointed a handgun at Langham and shot him as he tried to leave the room. Police said Murray then fled and was spotted a short distance away by police officers and was detained. Police said the investigation showed that Murray was responsible for the shooting. Murray was arrested and taken to the Allegheny County Jail on charges of criminal homicide and firearm violations. Police ask anyone with information to call the County Police Tip Line 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
