Beckett Grading Services gave the card a general grade of 8.5, which represents near-mint condition, and graded the autograph at a 9. The card is labeled No. 99 from 100.

This card was purchased on eBay over a decade ago and has been tucked away in a private collection since then. One of only a handful ever offered for sale, this is an opportunity to acquire the best Tom Brady rookie card available to the public.”
The purchase comes on the heels of a March auction where the next version of the exact same card offered for a then-record $1. 32 million, per ESPN’s Tom VanHaaren.

In turn, the value of the rookie cards continue to grow at a rapid pace as a form of investment.
