Apple switched from Microsoft’s Bing to Google as the default search engine across Safari and Siri three years back for allegedly a yearly sum of a thousand bucks.

The report goes on to suggest that to address those concerns, Apple should consider offering users an choice to decide on a search engine once they start the browser first time rather than configuring Google by default on Safari.
