Will the Service be launched in Countries such as India?

Additionally will it be Subsidized/Discounted for Educational institutes?

level 1

When Delta, BC, Canadian will start getting the Starlink Hardware for usage as I have read the Canadian government has approved the license to operate in Canada now. I’m waiting for this service to use now. 鉁岎煠烉煈嶐煓

How would FPS gaming be on it?

level 1

Will you prevent people from sharing the internet connection across more than one household?

I’m from India, thanks team for taking my Q, when we will get starlink service & ~price/month ?. Further in technology, Will terminal adapt in real time according to signal strength & in what all conditions will signal strength affect badly. I’m fresher, looking for job, where can I reach.

How do you update the software on the satellites? How often? How do you avoid “bricking” a satellite with a SW update?

level 1

Are you still working on lowering the reflectivity of the satellites? As it stands, most ground based astronomy is being ruined by starlink satellites

level 1

When will the beta expand south of 45掳N? Will the expansion be 3掳, 5掳, or more?

level 1

Will there be an option for you to crash satellites into approaching foreign objects that would threaten the Earth. Or update these satellites so you could remotely push away those object? Also how does weather effect the system.

level 1

What other types of services can you theoretically provide using starlink a technology? Ex. Cell phone provider? Airforce gps & comms?

level 2

It already does use CGNAT.

I live on a remote island in Alaska with 20 other people. We are all interested in Starlink since our current internet is 1/10th the speed and 10x the cost. We can’t get technicians out here so the self installation is ideal for us.

Will there be a problem with several dishes being clustered together?

level 1

What’s the max number of users that Starlink is designed to operate with? a billion active users or even more?

level 1

PEI Canada is in the sweet spot for your beta test. Some of us on the south east end of the island can’t even get good cellular service. Internet is terrible connection DSL on old cable pairs.

Houses are few and far between here so there is zero chance of any infrastructure updates.

Prince Edwards Island, south east area…. Just saying…

Other than that, I’m excited for your project. It’s going to be a game changer for a lot of people. Thank you.

When will airlines get access to starlink

level 1

Do you have anyone in the team, maybe a post doc, or any interest in using Starlink for scientific atmospheric research?

They are doing a lot with “signals of opportunity” from the GPS network in terms of things like atmospheric moisture.

It would seem that laser links previously mentioned as a key strategy for effective global low latency routing is not a current focus area of deployment. What鈥檚 the status of that research and do you expect it to be a realistic capability? As an engineer, dynamic alignment seems challenging AF even in the vacuum of space. Thanks!

Is it possible to access the internet from a region where it is not offcially released but is nearby to an official region?

level 1

How many years are starlink satellites expected to last? Is flying in LEO a limiting factor?
