Welcome to Guitar Girl Magazine! I’m thrilled to be part of the latest issue, and I wanted to give you all an insight into my journey with the guitar.

As a lifelong guitar enthusiast, I’ve been playing for around nine years. Music is my passion, but performing live has been my joy. Writing songs has also become one of my favorite hobbies. It’s a great way to express myself artistically, and it helps me come up with creative ideas for writing solos.

Inspiration can come from a variety of sources. Personally, I get inspired by greats such as Eddie Van Halen and Slash. Recently I’ve gotten into learning solos from Marty Friedman, so that’s been a great source of inspiration. I’m also pushed to work hard by my bandmates Julian and Dax, and that helps fuel my creativity.

Equipment is also an important part of the guitar playing process. I tend to use a Blackstar amp with either my traditional Les Paul or SG Standard for most gigs. These pieces of gear have helped me get the sound I want, and enable me to create music in my own unique style.

Although it’s not always easy, playing guitar is something that I love to do. Whether I’m at home practicing or on stage performing, I take great pride in what I’m able to create. It’s a great source of comfort and accomplishment, and I’m grateful for all of the opportunities it’s given me.

Hopefully this has given readers a better understanding of my journey with the guitar. The world of music is filled with endless possibilities, and I encourage everyone to practice and explore to find their own unique form of expression.
